How’s everyone doing? Any plans? Here is what was outside my office window!
I have a date tonight with a woman. This one is different than the usual. I’m so excited to meet her that I’m off and on crying with excitement. This is literally something that’s never happened before! I’m so excited I have to bounce on this ball to keep from freaking out. :)
Also new is our date format. Tomorrow we’re going to just randomly drive in a northwestern direction and hit up all the random rural towns far from home, try out their local restaurants and interests , then end the day cuddling and looking at the stars.
Even more exciting, she wants to be my Gambler 500 copilot. I mean, she straight up asked me if I was going to the OG! :D
Aside from my heart skipping, the weather has prevented me from painting the Suzuki for Pride. No care, I’m still going to have a blast in the parade!

motogp TT festival... will be heading out there soon as im able to keep my eyes open... seriously crapped out after a week of super early starts at work.. going home early to avoid the heat....its gonna take me a little while to get through this tired spot but ill get there.... pay for it tomorow :)

Downhill mountain biking S aturday with my son, install new brake lines on the Datsun, install new half shafts if they are done today, lawn mowing, movie watching that kind of stuff. Maybe rent a jack hammer and demo some concrete. Wouldn’t mind doing some water sports too, but the water is still cold AF.

Heck of a shelf cloud there, quite rare in my backyard.
Just another workday here. Weekend will hopefully be dry, want to drive the old car, otherwise the same old stuff, skating and hockey practice.

Slow day, doing make-up and hair and nails . Should be doing QX80 timing chains.... Anyway, p lanning a big party at work tomorrow. Officially came out. Everyone knew, I just made it official, accidentally . Apparently it is a bi g deal, I am the only employee that is out out . I love and hate it at the same time, not one for attention. I WAS NOT expecting this level of acceptance and excitement from everyone . Very happy on that end. And a pparently they are doing a drawing for my name change... I have reservations on that one, mechanics are an odd bunch .
Wanted to do something for Pride but just been too busy to commit . So now work is doing some stuff tomorrow for customers and employees . If it is a hit, it might become an annual thing.

OMG Congratulations! I didn’t know there were more of us on Oppo and I’m so happy there are! I wish my workplace experience was that smooth. I initially had lots of love when I came out (parents aside, most people have reacted with a nearly uncomfortable amount of excitement)
, but that quickly devolved into daily protests to HR to get me banned from the restroom. I now work for a corporate giant and while those protests aren’t a thing here (I proudly have two trans flags at my desk), I now have to deal with chasers who want to cheat on their wives to sleep with me. *sigh*
Wait, what area are you in again?

Louisville, Kentucky. I was a bit nervous about it, it is still a bit southern here but getting better.
I l eft my trans flag and bi flag hair bows in by accident and had to explain it to some co-workers. Others over heard and some others heard it through t he rumor mill. I called a meeting to make it all official. Although being in a green dress, that matches my xterra perfectly, kinda answered some questions. We have co-ed service restrooms so no worries there. Everyone uses them. Pretty laid back and casual at work. I took a pay cut to come work here and I wouldn’ t change it for the world.
My wife and MIL have been awesome about it and pushing me to really come out. I dont talk to my family anymore. Issues there.
It was a good day. Except for breaking the strap on my wedges. Still upset over that one.
